Leeds is a lively and vibrant city in the heart of West Yorkshire, steeped in history with three major universities (University of Leeds, Leeds Metropolitain University and University of Leeds Trinity that have driven the growth of bars and restaurants), as well as galleries, great shopping center and many more places of interest. More growth in the region occurred during the 17th and 18th century, when production and trade of the wool and the industrial revolution encouraged the growth of innovative industries in flax, technology, iron foundries and printing, which saw the Leeds manages one sixth of the UK's export trade in 1770.

1816 Leeds and Liverpool Canal has been designed to facilitate trade between these two areas, there are over 127 miles which extends over the Pennines. Leeds has successfully passed the economy away from traditional manufacturing industry to a services-based economy, containing retail shops and one of the largest financial sectors outside London in England. The growth of the financial sector has given rise to a number of modern buildings in the financial district.
Fairburn points RSPB reserve is a natural habitat for wildfowl and birds that contains connection, woodland and scrub, the area was reclaimed from the abandoned mines. Other natural areas include Golden Acre Park is a 137 acre public park which includes Lakes. Chevin is the natural beauty of the location of the Leeds consisting of forest land and heathland is another amazing natural area Yorkshire Dales, an area of outstanding natural beauty in 683 Sq miles, which has some of the most scenic and breathtaking valleys and hills in the region.
